One of the answers they gave me was, royal mail could take up to three weeks to deliver my order!!!! Luckily I managed to cancel a second order I had with them. Reordered that order with p&b. I should have known better.

don't blame you duncan... plenty of better options out there. worth checking out the Hartley's chandlery pages- they're good.

I too have had misses from p&b and trident, but in general they are better at sorting out mistakes.

I've had some misses from Sailboats, but a lot more successes. Same is true of PinBax - who aren't always entirely clear about whether things are actually in stock or not.

I ordered som trolley wheel from them a few weeks ago and the service from sailboats.co.uk was perfect.

Gave sailboats a try for the first time in years. Placed two orders, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday. The first order was dispatched Tuesday afternoon and I have still not received it. Second order is still pended and not picked or sent. To cap it all you cannot contact them on a Saturday. :( Will never use them again.
