help and advice

   Hi I was lucky enough to be given my brothers 1975 Supernova 30 designed I believe by Jack Jones.I have been restoring all the interior replacing wooden cupboards etc.It is still has good original paint work on the outside,apart from needing a touch up on the challenge stripe which could be brightened up.The hull is epoxy and still looks as good as new.I have taken out the inboard dolphin motor ,as I am sure this will be modernised by the new owner to a small diesel.All drives etc have been left in place.I intend to sell this boat on its completion in a few weeks.Here is where I get stuck.
What could be the possible value of this beautiful old boat.
How could I market it?
Any help would be appreciated,many thanks

	There are very few (I can't think on any offhand) cabin boats that small which actually sail well, and the space inside is so cramped that they don't make a good place to spend time, either. If there are sailing clubs near you, pop down and take a look at what is around, see if you can get out for a ride with anyone, whether it be on a dinghy or a yacht, and spend some time on the water. From there, you'll start to get an idea of which bits of sailing you enjoy the most, and start to get an idea of what you might want to buy for yourself. Folks at clubs are usually pretty friendly, though just before a race they may be rushing around and might not be able to stop for a chat.

	Hi Tom. It's a great sport/hobby so it's good to see someone wanting to give it a go. I would strongly recommend that you get some training prior to getting your first boat, it's so easy to get things wrong when beginning. Good training could save you all sorts of grief (as well as money). Have a look at the RYA website. 	Hi im Tom First off a big hello to everyone on the site I'm hoping to get a little help drawing on the experience of other members of this site, i am hoping to buy my first boat however iv never sailed before but always wanted to so im finally going to take the plunge, the problem i have is that i know practically nothing about the hobby other than what iv googled recently. i am hoping to purchase a boat in the region of 5 grand i had my eye on a few yatches i really liked however after looking at the mooring costs iv decided to use my garage for storing it, unfortunately it only measures 17' so iv had to start looking again im thinking of something about 15'to 16' to fit my garage hopefully with a Nice little cabin as it will be used year round for pleasure sailing not fishing. Can anyone suggest a type of boat or boat name that would fit what im hoping for or am i being unrealistic? Kimd regards Tom
