We've traditionally had the Laser as the fastest in the slow simply because that way they are in the same fleet as the Radials. Before we changed the rules again, it meant someone sailing a Laser one week and a Radial the next would have their scores in the same series. Now we have to sail one boat, it is no longer as important.

I do like the idea of a band where you can choose which fleet to be in.
