I have done Bala a few times and quite fancy doing it again.  If the Zeroes are going that might swing it.
the same, but different...

I love visiting UYC, just a hugely friendly club, great water and superb scenery if you fancy heading off to explore.
I'll be taking the EPS for Easter.

Just watch out for the reef this time!

LOL ....Indeed!
Actually, I do need to learn where that is again, seeing as Bryan and I will be taking Emma's 420 up to the Birkett!  Ouch <---(potential reef damage!)

Two I now of locally are the Weston Grand slam and Royal Lymington YC.
I have done the Lymington many years ago i think both would be worth checking out before making a decision.
If your taking the D one then Lymington has a few.

We did Bala with the Scorpions @ Easter last year. Was bit cold, wind not great on the Saturday but Sunday was pretty good once it filled in.

Would recommend dry suits if you think you may take a dip, is a very deep lake at the bottom of a valley, we had a dip in on a crash gybe which certainly woke us up.

Really good, well set up club with good facilities.
You cant camp/sleep in vans on site however there are plenty of campsites around, one right next to the club (however is a bit expensive, and you can only book three nights (I think))
Also would recommend a proper sleeping bag + thermals if you are camping.  We woke up with ice on our sleeping bags, never been so cold camping (even at Easter)

The D-Zero fleet look to be congregating at the Bala easter regatta. I won't make it but those who have gone speak highly of it.
