I did indeed....actually had something of a bidding war and it went 15 minutes after I advertised it!
Bought a 600 with the proceeds.

I toyed with the Solution prior to getting my first Lightning. Looked a well layed-out boat to be fair.

... and we try and encourage carbon mast buyers to get them finished in white for all sorts of sensible practical reasons.

Oh yes - sexy black spars. People regularly come up to the boat and tap the spars, expecting them to be carbon. See photo above.

Well, old age has caught up with me. My Solution is for sale. Sail No 450, six years old, built my Ovington. Comes with padded rudder bag, spare alloy tiller extension, gunwhale-hung trolley, over cover, sexy black Selden spars. New in past six months: Ratchet block, carbon tiller extension, mainsheet, more powerful cunningham and outhaul, rear traveller. Sail is full-cut Hyde good for club racing, but would probably need replacing for serious championships. Hull, spars, foils all in excellent condition. No road trailer. £3650. I'll post this in the For Sale section.
