Nelson in today's society?  He'd probably ask why he lost a hand and an eye all because one American family's oil interests were under commercial pressure.

OK, Nelson never joined a CA, but you know what I mean...

Warships; the ultimate unrestricted development class.

And sure enough, flipping' expensive, but the good news for grf is that no hiking is required

Yep- I think you have a point.  It's got a kind of retro vibe, one that gets lost in the blandness of pushing the stick on a Pico or pulling the rope on a Topaz.

Sure, but when Topper made them none of them excited me or gave me any expectations (except the Iso till I tried one), whereas if Cirrus built the Topper you'd expect them to make a proper job if it.

Human Capital Department might be a better description of the perfunctory responsibilities most corporate employers have to their staff.

it might seem like a meaningless step- but imo, one of the barriers to the sport is the nomenclature.

We either accept it, embracing its traditions and heritage and can be grown up enough to acknowledge that in reality, the demographic for boat ownership is not really in the lowest echelons of society; or we change it and get on twitter about our Performance Riders In Club Sailing- #hashtag 'prics' for short.
