Looking gorgeous - I haven't time for wooden boats, but I love them, admire the effort required to restore and look after them. Especially good that it is an Int 14, such great boats.
I like to take pictures of sailing, but I'd rather be sailing!

Interestingly they were not always the way they are now. The same man who restored Blue Peter restores vintage piano`s and he has a very early one where the keys you would expect to be black are white and vice versa

I have a piano (by ear) playing son. If he gets stuck he finds someone playing the piece on the net...and copies it.

As it happens I own a Baby Grand built by Broadwood & Sons, well the bread knife sorted it, back in the days when antique brown wood was still much sought after, now it's next to worthless and co-incidently for sale since she's up and sold my gaff from under me and we're on the move.
Personally however I have a yamaha keyboard thing which I find much more convenient in my pathetic and these days infrequent attempts at tuneful noise making, something I've yet to master, a bit like dingy sailing only worse.

Must be sad to not be able to see beauty - do you prefer a yamaha electric piano to an antique grand, or a plastic violin to a strad?

Now, personally, I'd not want to own Blue Peter - too much responsibility, a little like owning a 300 year old violin. But as a useable work of art, perfect.

In answer to your question it is a thing of great beauty and meer mortals like me can admire the skills of the original builder and of the restorer. I have been lucky enough to see this boat through all the stages from wreck to the fine boat she is now.
It also preserves a little bit of sailing heritage for us to remember the roots of our sport by.
Also it looks so much better than boring white plastic.
