Finally, almost off work and time to post!  Day 358
DARN IT - IT IS ER-INDOORS HERE WITH WRONG LOGIN!

Nicely topical - Vago at last year's Brass Monkey.  Can anyone tell me what the batwing logo is for?  Is it an equivalent (but obviously inferior) version of having a Rebel Alliance sticker on your dinghy?

You could be right there, Mr Piewalker - the space frame did come down into the boat on that, rather than to the gunwales.

Very odd, I recall one or two Cherubs with a space frame like that, but that hull shape looks far older if its a Cherub, so maybe its a 14 hull. 14s were much keener on those alloy space frames since they had both weight and money to burn.

That is so lovely!!!
Makes me feel very nostalgic as my parents had J17 and I helmed it a few times in the early 80's.  Sadly after it was given to a cousin it was left under a tree for many years, and did not survive the experience.

Time for Chris Wood's Jollyboat with a cut down sail and three up for the strong winds at Roadford this year.
