nice one Jack- it seems a boat that genuinely fulfils a need some have been crying out for (search this site for the light skiff and apply some 2012 'asymmetric bubble bursting' for club racing boats...)

BNS needs to try one.  (I assume she still lurks on occasion)

Dark grey with metallic silver or light grey lines and accent. Then lots of fluoro green, yellow and pink ropes!Failing that, Burgundy/silver, because I'm an Anchorman fan

I like that purple (maybe a touch more red) and the whiter logo as you have shown on that purple.  Thumbs up from me.

First one looks too old fashioned, red possibly (dark red as some have mentioned previously), middle one good (too grey?)  Like the distinctive logo bit that would work for different colours.  Like the flag on the top of the sail - saw this at Datchet on something and it looked great.  Like the stripe but as Lukepiewalker has suggested, maybe the logo block right down to bottom.

I imagine you saw this on our 800, I believe it was the only boat there with it, although it is now beginning to peel unfortunately.
Yes - couldn't tell it was peeling from that far away!

no surface is safe from aluminium tubes! Wink

if you want durable don't do black! white every time.  Black will show up every blemish and scratch. Lighter the colour the less the damage shows

If you want it easy to look after, black all over means tyre marks from jetties won't show up, and it is easily patched. Can look stunning with a high polish, and your graphics would show up well.

Yep good point.

I love Jeremy's metallic blue on his 12, but it's a bit of a bitch to look after. Especially if you ding it! Hey Jeremy!
