Not sure how many of you know Alex Newton?

He was business partner with the late Bart Simpson and built Percy/Simpson's Star that won gold in Beijing, he also built a follow up boat that was very quick but not used at the last olympics..

Top bloke and a brilliant composite engineer/boat builder and repairer. Currently helping me and a few others with our Merlin Rockets.

I highly recommend anyone needing work done get in touch with him if they want a top quality repair done by an expert in Carbon, Wood or Glass.

Live in Kent and sail from Stone SC. iGRF, you will only find weeds at the end of my garden because of sail time well spent. I have to own up to much "dad dancing". I do not however avoid the beat, but entirely agree with your last sentiment.

Thanks guy's for all your input. I will start contacting and post the eventual outcome.

Kent is the Garden of England, and all Gardens have fairies at the bottom of them don't they?

Stone Sailing Club is the heart and soul of 'out of time dancing' those boys sure know how to avoid the beat.

The more they drink the more beat they avoid.

Rich sails at Stone sailing club (down the river from Maldon) so I presumed he was in Essex or at least had to go past Maldon to escape!

This river in kent with Maldon up it, how come I've not come across it?

There's this other really quite big River which Kent borders on, it's called the Thames, and to the North of it there be dragons and she witches, Maldon is up there...

Maldon = Mordor

None of the suggestions so far are very cheap!

I suggest YouTube combined with the Cherub Forum and Matrix Composites PLUS your own two hands!
