I've definitely seen a bandit with a merlin at Draycote once or twice, but never a kingpin with some serious firepower.

There were parts of it where I did think a cruise across a Scottish Loch or the like with not another soul in sight might be more fun - that was a bit crowded in place!

Pfft, prannging the committee boat just show's you're trying. But you're not quite good enough. Did it at one B14 event (I'll remind you i don't waggle the stick), next race the committee boat had obtained one of the spare inflatable marks and secured it on their starboard rear quarter...

Tide? What has tide got to do with that first t**t smacking into the safety boat, never mind the idiots squeezed out or trying for a lame port tack into the oncoming fleet, don't they know they should go under gybe and try for the back door, or tack behind the boat and wait?

Higher skill oneself, I'm astronomic compared to that lot.
