Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

I bet there's quite a few younger windsurfers feeling pretty sick and lost right now.

What kind of wind range can they perform in? and will the 'sailors' [or whatever they refer themselves as] use different size kites per wind strength?

If you can swap kites, I'd say anything.

Wind range is 5 knots to 40 knots and the good guys will need 3 different sized kites for this wind range (max).

This decision is very similar to the inclusion of Ski-Cross (and Boarder-Cross) to the Winter Olympics but fear that Kitesurfing won't have the same 'wow' factor.

One of our members granddaughter is a Kitesurf World Champ or something. I met her last year after not seeing her since she was a child, she looked straight from California but in fact she lives in Stockport. They do tricks and race do they not?

Hardly great news at all, the sport hasn't even developed yet. There must have been all of a dozen events ever.

Didn't see it coming and agree it seems a little immature for the 5 rings.
