Indeed. If Ben was remotely physical with the crew of the media boat then he's into Brodie Cobb territory, and from memory didn't he get a 2 year ban?

Rule 69 protest outcomes are unpredictable. If the protest committee feel Ben was remotely violent I think he'll get lobbed from the event and could even face a ban. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

The perth site says he's to be scored DGM for races 9&10 which I'm guessing stands for Disqualified for Gross Misconduct.  
Although as he was black flagged in race 10, this only really has an effect on race 9.  
Not sure if it will go further still........

Yes just check - DGM is as Doug H says and is not excludable.  Ben ends up 11th so no Medal Race.

As long as there is no further sanction then I think he must see that as a good outcome.

But when I look at that photo sequence I can see why his blood was boiling and I feel for him completely.
