Did our first couple of races on the boat on Sunday. It's a weapon.
The downside of 20s , especially wide ones, is that they can be a bit ponderous on the water. But the F20 feels really light and twitchy on the helm. most cats will easily pass close to leeward of a fireball with its kite up, but you usually suffer a bit for it, this thing is so tall and light that it just keeps pushing on.

I think that you would really like that , wouldn't you!

Needless to say, the TeamVMG uniform this year is going to be black, very black, macho black.

What are you afraid of? Get rash vests that match the boat. Bonus points if you can over-leggings to match as well.  If you're going to sail a pink boat, you might as well go all the way.

uGreat picture. Look forward to more shots of cats pulling wheelies throughout the season.
Can we have some video as well?
BTW Stade de France (Rugby) colours are pink. It would be a braver man than me to suggest they look a bit 'girlie'.

How sensitive is the F20C to crew weight? I quite fancy one but my general impression of the older F20s were they were a big persons boat, ie a combined crew weight of 140-160kg was a bit on the light side.

The 'old' 20 was only the same width as f18s so needed a bit of weight to keep it down. The F20c is over 10 feet wide and, although it has more sail area, will need less weight to keep it driving. F18 sailors had no trouble moving on to Tornadoes.

The addition of 'foils' also makes the boat easier to keep down. As a gust hits, the leeward daggerboard tries to lift the leeward hull which kinda cancels the tendency for the windward hull to lift. This does make the boat feel a little bit stodgy until you realise what is going on and that the thing has accelerated like a nutter!

So i think that an understanding of the foils is going to be more important than bulk - go for it! Give Nacra UK a ring and come for a sail.
