Hi Guys, I see that you are sharing the Saturday & Sunday of your Nationals with the Sprint 15 Southern Championships. The Paperwork is on the Sprint 15 website. See the links below: Here is the NOR
Here are the SIs,
This is Appendix A the course. http://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event/62/H5.9%20&%20S print%20courses,%202010.pdf It is worth bringing to the attention of the Hurricane sailors that when you sail downwind from your windward mark on your windward/leeward course that you will be crossing the Sprint 15s first reach of their square course. The Sprint 15s will be on starboard and the Hurricanes will be windward boats so the Hurricanes will have to give way. Also from experience most of the Hurricanes will have spinnakers up and have poor visibility downwind.
They are good courses for both fleets but the sailors have to be aware of this intersection point.
Cheers
Bob
PS Rutland use the same courses at one of their Cat Opens a few years back and I got holed by a Hurricane coming downwind when I was on the reach in my Sprint 15.
![]() PPS With the Hurricanes going off 5 mins before the Sprint 15s the risk is highest on the first lap of each race as Murphy's Law dictates that the fleets come together at about the same time at that point. It would be much better in my view if the Sprint 15s go off first. That way the fleets are well spread out by the times they reach the intersection point.

It's also the East Coast Piers Race at Marconi Sailing Club the weekend after. It's not too far from TBYC and you can leave your boats at Marconi for the week.
