Hi,

Not really sure what section this would go in, but does anyone know if Laser 1s and Laser 2s use the same launching trolley- i.e. would a laser 2 fit on a standard laser combi trailer?

Thanks

Nev,

I think that there is a difference between the two, I'm using a Laser 2 road base with a standard Laser trolley and I had to move the bracket on the road base back about 25 - 30mm. I suspect that if you tried it the Laser 2 Trolley on a Laser 1 roadbase, you would find that the back of the trolley wouldn't lock into the bracket properly.

I'm thinking of buying a Laser 2 without a trolley or trailler- but I do have a standard Laser combi trailer. Do you think that it will fit?

Thanks a lot,

Nev

It might fit, but you might need to remove the front fitting off the road base and replace it with this:

The important thing is to ensure that the rear of the roadbase engages with the trolley. I would definitely want to see how it fits before you start making changes.

Thanks for your comments. I have both the trolley and combi base so I don't see that being a problem- its just simply whether the L2 will fit on a standard L1 gunwale hung trolley and vice versa. Many thanks, Nev
