that's pretty much the level of response i got too tim

http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2 723

i'd have thought anyone who knows the Southport 24 Hour Race format would have been well enthusiastic, although it's a bit less sociable on the water in a one man boat

i guess the 7:00 am Saturday captains briefing, 8:00 am start could have something to do with it for travellers, even with a Friday night social and overnight camping by the lake

i'm starting to think some  really do think it's one man in a boat for 12 hours ...

hhhmmmm, it says a specialsed docking are to change rigs in... does this mean you have to change rigs whilst afloat? could be amusing.

tactical rig changes at Southport could be a bit like F1 tyre changes at Silverstone ... swap wets for slicks, then the heavens open

(guess you might if you had a mixed Junior/Adult team)

hey, tim, which club are you? if you're entering a team, post your sail number and i'll look out for you ... by the level of non-interest it should be easy enough to pick you out!

I’ve just had an update from West Lancs that Pheonix Marine and Rooster Sailing are sponsoring the event. In addition Steve Cockerill is bringing a team!!
