Going to Sunsail in Turkey on Saturday!

Good Bit-  Warm, holiday, girlfriend doesn't sail so opportunity to teach her, improve windsurfing

Bad Bit  Only cat they have is a Hobie 15!!!!

Really going to miss the Tornado, but I am going to enjoy sailing in a pair of shorts again. Seems like a long time since the Hurricane Euros last year.

well its your fault for not going to wildwind, if you went there at least you could sail the hobie fox and tiger or the pacific and the 15 when you want to teach your girlfriend.

Never heard of a 15.   Is it a 14 or a 16 or known by another name.

Very interesting......  Looks like a good beginers boat.  Far cry from a T though.  Maybe one up with a kite may satisfy a bit, given breeze.

My crew got married at Great Kepple Island (start of Great Barrier Reef) in Queensland Australia last August.  A good number of cat club members spent the week up on the island and took part in a hire cat regatta on POS 12 foot cats.

We were made up of A Class, F-18, Tornado and Taipan sailors.  Still managed to have fun on these buckets and make the resort personel a little nervous.

And this bay will be the sight of the 2007 F18 World Championships.

We will be spending a few weeks training on this island before slipping across to the mainland for the Worlds.

Sounds like fun! Wish we could do something like that. Take some of the best sailors in the country. Give them all the crappest absolute tubs to sail. And have a huge race that everyone seems to take overly seriously.

O wait a sec, it's already been done, we call it the Endeavour Trophy!
