So, you've got a limited budget, the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us, which low cost lead mine do you choose, to shoot off on a round the world, or far way from all this bollox trip do you choose, linkys please.. It's moving up the agenda.

(Got to be able to get to the Caribbean and single handed, only interested in bargains..)

19ft? I was hoping to survive an Atlantic Crossing, thought that required 28ft to be comfortable, although my knowledge of lead mines is sketchy, I think it needs something a tad bigger..

We once met an American lad in Durban RSA who had sailed all the way from the Great Lakes (Chicago?) in a Hunter 19 with his German Shepherd dog. How on earth he took the dog for a walk remains a puzzle.

Open 60 and foil across. Rather defeats the object as you get there is 5 days, but you might get lucky and snap the foils, lose the rig and have to get across under jury rig taking several weeks.
