If you could, which boat would you buy .....after seeing it at the Dinghy Show?

For me it would be a new singlehander to the Market, the RS and D0 both looked fantastic, so for me it would be one of them. Possibly the RS due to the change of Rig option.

I know Er Indoors has a nice new Lightning coming.... Nikki, Pictures are required, anyone else bought a new boat?

I thought the Hadron had the nicest lines of the single handers. I didn't see any "must have" boats though.

If I could and money were no object, I'd buy both the Aero and the D Zero, keep the Aero at Hythe and the Zero on the lake, I'd buy the Vortex join Whitstable and keep it there, I'd buy those Laser foils and fit them to the V twin, I'd buy the plans to that Farr 3.7 and get someone to build one properly, down to 30 kgs using that new foam stuff they're using to build the Aero and carbon, keep that down the lake. I'd buy a new Alto and build my new spinnaker chute delivery system and sell my old one.

As it is I'll barely manage one from that list, and only if I get rid of one of the boats I've already got. The bread knife has challenged that rule that states the number of boat a man is entitled to is N+1.

Didn't you think that was a big old boat? I thought it was a full size Merlin at first, I had to do a double take, had a good look at it, but unfortunately there was nobody to talk to about it. Think if I were a p1ssed off Phantom sailor I'd have to think about that..

Oh yes, that black and wood ok was stunning! I don't know why, but the OK has no appeal to me, but that was possibly the best looking/finished boat I've ever seen.
