I reckon we need to praise some of the writing that appears on this site. Writing an entertaining report that's family-freindly and isn't just injokes only those in the fleet will get can be tough.
 
So, first nomination, Moths at the Bloody Mary.

Enjoyable report; gives a real flavour of one man's struggles with alcohol and a foiling fixation!  LOL

The fact that the Y&Y website can give so much space over to articles like this provides opportunities that the old '100 words or less' reports of yor denied the aspirant Bob Fishers amongst us.

Would it even be possible for someone like Bob Fisher to get started these days? How does one actually make a living from writing when so many people get published as a hobby?

That's a great report, Peaky. I especially like this sentence: "The leeward mark was a little tense, as we approached on a run, skiffs of all shapes and sizes descended, kytes bulging, pointed bowsprits glinting like the Rams of Grecian Triremes, looking about as controlled as a nuclear reaction.  Smile
