I think there's a certain winter event at Queen Mary SC which might dispute that claim to be the biggest. I think they'd be right too.

And what's all that stuff about tidal qualifications?

The pic at the head of the article appears to be a fleet race for Bosuns. That's not exactly selling it to me...

What could possibly go wrong?

RYA Tidal endorsement qualification?

WTF?

Is there such a thing?

I wonder where they issue that, Queen Mary?

This means dinghy sailors without the Royal Yachting Association Tidal Endorsement qualification can enjoy a once-a-year experience of competitive sailing on the Greenwich stretch of the River Thames.

Since when have you needed an RYA ticket to sail in tidal areas?

Having searched for 'Tidal endorsement' on the RYA website, nothing exists.

I don't know the club at all but if I were a member I would be fairly embarrassed by that article.

What could possibly go wrong?

If poor Mark had to check every piece for accuracy and liaise with the authors to correct he's never do anything else - and we'd have to wait an awful lot longer for reports to appear on the website..

last night, in the bath, I was able to use the mini-boats out the back of the RRS as well as a Simpsons-themed bubble bath and Elvis duck to host

"The Biggest Anglo-American Bath Based Regatta Ever"

..thankfully, not one photograph of this event exists so I have decided on the one below for a mock up, I expect the PR to be with Y&Y shortly and a front-page slot on the website....

or perhaps not!
