Yachting type boots

Yes I know I should most likely have dumped this in the keelboats section, but that seems to get no traffic and strictly speaking I'm almost never on anything with a keel so I thought I'd ask here.  If a mod wants to move it feel free.

Anyhoo, my deck boots, some Gill things which must have been about £50 and apparently split down the side where the rubber bends should you dare to walk in them, have died.  I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for replacements?

I'm prepared to shell out quite a bit for a pair of 3/4 or full length boots, the type you put under oilskins or whathaveyou, so I can splosh about launching things in them and t*t about on the deck of our QM committee boat without falling face first into the rope bin at the front.

Although these have the obvious downside of being hilariously expensive and well, being Musto, with all the good/bad that involves (YMMV).

Dubarry boots are a good choice too, although there have been a few complaints over the past few years that they're not as high quality as they used to be (I think it's a pretty negligible difference though to be honest). A lot of the VOR guys wore them though so they can't be too bad. They're a pretty reliable choice, you'll struggle to find any yacht in the UK that isn't crewed by at least 1 person wearing Dubarrys. They've got brilliant customer service too. If you're boots split, or if the sole comes off or whatever, you can send them back and they'll refurbish them for you really well.

Ones to avoid would be Henri Lloyds boots. The rest of their gear is great, best on the market. But their boots really aren't. I've got a pair of Shadows and even though they're warm and comfortable, the grip is shocking and they've fallen apart after a worryingly small amount of use. I wouldn't buy a pair again, given how expensive they were.

I also have a pair of Musto HPX boots which might be overkill for your purposes but given my experience with them id definitely recommend you look at the rest of the Musto range.
