why not just go over the hull with some fine sand paper. Will make the hull smoother, and also clean it....2 birds with one stone

OK once or twice but if you do it to often you could end up going through the gelcoat.

I wouldnt do this, in my opinion it is a sure fire way to get osmosis as you shave off the waterproof outer skin and then the hull sucks up water.

Wow, looks great! The hull of my dinghy is reasonably oxidised - mainly at the bow - will this help remove that or will it generally be better to 'Cut & Paste' with two products (my favoured option at the moment tbh)

Just got an email from Avant supplies. They now have a new web site www.boat-cleaner.co.uk been buying it for the last 4 years I rate it. they are also adding chandles to the site, whish I wish they had them on their old site. Saves on the postage.   great forum.

Hi flea

I got it to get rid of the waterline staining (yellow) which was pertty bad, it got rid of that and the engine exaust stains. Not sure what oxidisation is, but I have been using it ever since.
