No obvious wanted column on here so this will have to do, I'm thinking of
maybe a Vareo for a bit of pre 100 practise, so if anyone knows of an old
munter kicking around the various discarded boat parks, that might be
going cheap...

As long as it floats and has all the bits to make it go..

I gather it's a bit of a dog to sail to handicap, it'll be interesting finding out
why..

Why dont you buy an old Blaze grupf and fit you own kite to it (should be cheaper then buying a vareo)

What back where it all started?

So many people told me so many negative things about the Blaze, its weight
it's lack of comfort, it's difficulty moving back and forth, Its bad upwind
performance, it's tiny centreboard, I kind of went off the idea.

But I'll have another google about see if there are any around.

The world is so short of a decent single hander, it's hardly surprising women
don't sail much.

grf you know as stacy says you can have a go in mine anytime you want.

Struggle on handicap well sometimes not all the time last night we had a long distance race out to a bouy one and a half mile off the coast so i had a nice beat back in i was four minutes ahead of the first 2000 and by the time i had got to the line i had increased it to just over five mins so a vareo cant be that slow as the 2000s was sailed by a guy who came third at the nationals.

ask on our vareo forum i am sure there is a few about for 2500 which gets you an old boat but still goes ok i did see one the other week at 1850 but this is very rare.

Please Mark, remove the handbag comments about MX-Rays... ex-owners are getting very upset and reconsidering there Advertising spend.

Plus G.R.F... that's my old boat, you won't find a better example. Although I am shocked at the price. I should of kept it!

Yes, paid it there and then, had another Sunday on the beach watching,
warm windy going mental...

I'm getting desperate now I'm just going to buy the first thing I see..

Edit can't see them delivering down south that MX and we had one at the
club for a long time, it never went out and when it did it didn't 'perform',
what's up with it? CB too small?
