I really like the look of the Viper but very hard to get in the UK and budget really goes to about £10,000

I'd have thought you'd struggle to find an Elite for £10,000?

I think 'Red' might be a Melges 32 not a 20

The Red Team have both a 32 (its currently 4th at the worlds) and a 20 which was helmed by Rurhidh Scott at this years Scottish Series straight out of the wrapper. they may possibly have a 24 as well?

I think they still have a M24 as well- but dont think they currently use it.

They have 3 M32s and 1 M20

I sailed the elite at the early stages when just brought out. I did find the early boats had a few issues that needed ironing out! We had to put so much rig tension on one to get it to point that it ended up bending the gunwhales in under the loads... Rs have since added reinforcement to the chain plate areas and added spreader bars to rectify this as I understand.
