If my other half happened to be the right height for a size 10 drysuite (5ft 4) and the right waist for a size 16 drysuit (34") - what size should she buy?
(I say IF because obviously it'd be very poor etiquette to go discussing your other half's sizes on line!) She's looking at some end of season bargains online on the Gul Infra Suits... ...so going and trying one on ins't that easy as nowhere close by seems to stock them... All thoughts (other than buy a wettie) welcome. |

I would ring the chandler thats selling the dry suits up and ask. Different clothing manufacturers have different sizing types and dry suits can be a nightmare as there is little stretch!

Trident also used to do a Medium Broad size. Not sure if they still do, but I've got a wet and a dry suit of that size and they fit me fine.

Obviously, the thing to do is to try one on. You're not committed to buying by doing so! But I reckon there's enough room in a size 10 drybag for a size 16 waist. Unlike wetsuits a dry is an easy on/off garment and isn't too tight in any area. Or split the difference and get a 12. |

another vote for hammond i used to have one of their drysuits was absoloutly brilliant, wore it for 6 years (wore it almost every weekend of the winter) before it got its first leak, a worthy investment. |
