I've just gone into the subscribers corner for the 1st time to look for those articles, but it only goes back as far as 2008? Any chance of getting the 2007 articles you mention up?

Well done & you should be applauded for those tests & continue with the comparison style of test, But the problem is the tests done by Y&Y & other mag`s are seen to only show the GOOD points & not show or mention the undesirable ones.

Also for example ( I picked this because I needed hikers at the time ) the hikers comparison article that was done by Y&Y ,If I remember right started with 7 sets of hikers which I might have a interest in & gave the results that our testers like these 2 sets of hikers & did not said why they did not like the others, This seemed like an opinion rather then a test which led me no where.

The problem has led ME to read the tests as entertainment rather then a factual test in the same way that I watch top gear for fun.

* Medium to Heavyweight hiking doublehanders (incl. spinni)
* Trapeze Singlehanders
* Single Trap doublehanders
* Twin trap doublehanders

Cats can and should be included within the above categories, as they are essentially dinghies (just with stabilisers ). Ok some inland venues are restricted by backward thinking water companies on what they can and cant sail but if someone is looking for a twin trap boat to sail with their teenage child, why just narrow it down to RS800, when the Spitfire or even F18 would also be suitable.

So lets ave it!

Sad to say, I don't buy anything based on a Y&Y review, not even a pair of gloves let alone a boat.  They are all just so nice!

The sub club goes back to 2003, but I can see that showing a section like boat tests does limit the list to the most recent 20. I have now fixed that. Sorry it wasn't very useful.

You can also search for any test using the box in the top left. For example - "heavyweight" or "Kestrel".

Just a thought and the way this thread is heading it should probably be
moved into the "For the Mag" section, but I tend to buy Zinio's as and
when I think there may be something none Lead Mine or Ill informed
tactical waller giving knaff info, to read.

I wonder you don't sell an annual collation of Boat Tests in Zino format, I
would have thought such a thing would be really popular given the high
turnover of 2nd hand boats.

It wouldn't be that difficult to put together from PDFs surely.

Naturally I would expect a commission on the sale of each one now given
it's my idea. (Maybe I should set about with a scanner and the back copy
library)
