Hiya

Does anyone know of a Superspars  - loos rig tension conversion graph?

I sail a RS200....and all the tuning guides are in Superspars!.....and I have a Loos gauge !!!!!

If anyone does know of a conversion chart or if there is a method or formula that is used....please let me know

No, there isnt a direct comparison or a set ratio. Some tuning guides say to deduct 7 when chaning from a superpar to loos gauge- however its been tried a lot and is definatly not correct. To further complicate matters there are 2 types of loos gauge, firstly the ones that are of a similar nature to the superspar, then another which clips onto the shroud and stays there (with springs).

Its worse than that.  Do you know there is the Old Loos Guage and the New Loos Guage - each with a different scale?  I've got a conversion somewhere - can't find it at the moment but I'll be back.

Are we referring to Rebecca Loos here? Beckhams supposed to score, that free kick may've looked like a conversion, but it was a mistake....

This table gives you the Old Loos Gauge the strain in kg and the New Loos Gauge.

Old kg New

26 100 19

28 109 20

30 118 21

32 136 23

34 154 24/5

36 177 27

38 204 29
