Ok, I know Paypal isn't the most reliable of things but be warned.

I received this email to my other email account that is NOT LINKED to my Paypal.

Be warned, if I clicked the Dispute link, it would of gone to a SPAM/(Unknown) site:

I have been told by 2 credit card companies and ane bank that PayPal is by far and away the safest method of paying/receiving money online, so I wouldnt say its unreliable.

You must however, as already suggested, report it, the more that is fed back to them the more they are inclined to follow up the fraudsters and further tighten the system.

However as I generally get several emails like this a day (banks are mainly targeted) it does become a pain, just never click on anything you havent iniated yourself.

All the  financial institutes are targeted in this manner with sp**f emails,  I get several a day  even for  companies where I have no accounts.  The  spammers  just randomly  send millions of these emails out.  They then have replica websites,  hoping people will give their login details up !!!

Best advice is never to click on the links,  BUT just go straight to your PayPal (or other account) by typing the known URL,  then log in.
