I dare not plug myself into one of those things, it might prove what I have suspected for a few years now, I am already dead. What might be usefull is some tips on staying fit when over 60. I sort of stay fit when working, in the building trade, crawling, lifting, sawing climbing ect. but my body  just keeps slowing down. I clamber rather than jump if you know what I mean. Sailing is usualy OK but getting back in after capsize is proving more difficult. I am 5' 7" and 11 stone. Elixir of youth anyone?

This is nature's way of telling you it's time to get a keelboat.

P.S. I sail keelboats.

some good things to do and safe,

45-60mins fast walk above 4mph. or

20 mins slow swim.or

45 mins slow bike ride.

three times a week.sailing for me is the best ,sailing may not be fun if you are not fit as my graph show it's an endurance sport in some boats .

The best of all sail a skiff, no safe at all, but good fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ISbXDDduiw.

im been working to keep fit as bits are going south. Things are going well but it hard to get help. At the gym they wanted me to work at 80% heart rate. I reckon they want me in and out as quick as possible so quit and train outdoors. Why do people drive to the gym on a nice sunny day and walk on the treadmill?
