49er sails

   My question is, if it's the olympic boat and is pretty quick already and tricky to sail, why the hell change it?
 It's an excellent boat that I don't think needs to be changed. It will only make people like me who only sail at club level more likely to stay at the club rather than do the odd open, after all I don't have much chance of staying with the top boys now and I certainly wont be buying any new sails or masts if they change them!
