RS 600 Settings

i got all my rig settings off the class website i think. I didnt change the rig much. its one of those boats, where pretty much all the emphasis is on boat handling.

Go for the mast rake recomended in the tuning guide for     
starters. Generally rig settings stay pretty much the     
same regardless of conditions. Diamond tension set how     
easily the rig bends in gusts so don't wind it on too     
hard while you are learning.     
     
Otherwise kicker should be on close to full as soon as     
you are comfortably wiring upwind and stay on as the     
breeze builds. Use the cunningham as you get     
overpowered. Keep the kicker on on raches as it keeps     
the sail powered up but managable.     
     
My best advice would be to get out on the circuit, the     
way to learn to sail fast is to race with other 600s.     
Everyone is happy to share set-up tips and newbies are     
very welcome- we've all been through the swimming stage!
