I think they have achieved the planning stuff now and purchased the property that would be flooded but then somthing else stopped it ... and we have had a hose pipe ban for 18 months and our boats are all salty

I don't think the Kent one will ever happen but I wish it would as then we'd have a great winter retreat (better than Westbere) and be able to use our hose pipes.

Yeah we (at Herne Bay) had the same idea, even thought of a name: The Royal Broadoak Yacht Club . Has an understated charm I'm sure you'll agree.
