why cant you do that with the feva??  Ive just had a quick flick through the feva class rules and there doesnt seem to be anything opposing it.  Although i didnt read them very thoroughly.

This is used on a lot of 49ers as well, but they tie it to the end of the pole (inboard end!).Then go up through the spinny chute, over the top of the chute entrance and back to the mast.It then goes around the bottom of the mast and out to the ends of the jib rack. It's held here through a small piece of rope or something then goes out and around the spinny sheet.

This sound complicated but is very simple and works because the shockcord is allowed to run out when you launch the spinny (off the bottom of the pole) and when you drop it all pulls it in tidy

(hope this makes sense )

49er 531 & 5000 5025 and a mirror(now gone to mirror heaven)!

i dont know if it says it in the rules but there seems to be something about not being able to us blocks apart from where RS put them.

i just realised too that it wouldnt be physicaly possible eiither because of the chute being under the foredeck and the pole being under the chute.

600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.
