Garmin Software for Freaks !!

   Has anyone yet come up with a source of FREE software that is simple to use and can get FULL track data from a GPS - especially a foretrex 201 . all I have found(and thats a few)  seem to take down only sooo many plots and never your fastest ! then ask for a subcription to get more.
I use the foretrex as a glorified speedo , I don't want to pay for software that performs much more than i will ever need.
Is this the hidden entry fee in the Speed freaks competition in that if you want full proof to get best plausibility you have to buy the software , clever move Garmin , guess I'm just being an ole sceptic and poor surfer  !
Could mr Jardine pop this into correct thread ???, sorry.

	just get the garmin trip & waypoint manager, it's only £20, it will give you all your speed and direction data and plot the track on a map of the uk, you can also add waypoints etc to & from your 201 if you want to be bothered.

	£20 exactly my point , I only want proof of max speed for speed freaks .Don't need to track on maps add waypoints etc.
