Topper Topaz Race X Tiller Extension

Having recently bent my tiller extension I was wondering if anyone out there knew wether it was class legal like the topper to replace the join with a flexable joint?

What tiller extension could I use, (can I use carbon or extentable)?

What is the maximum length I can use as when sailing singlehand I find it too short?

Found the Class Chairmans Email he says

"This is open to individual sailors choice, so you can change the extension and joint"
