All 505's should have the sail number on the transom somewhere ,mines stencilled into the fibreglass. If it isnt there i'd say its pretty dodgy. What sort is it??parker,rondar,etc..mines a rondar so other manufacturers might have put a plate on or something anyway like I say it should be there!!

Why don't you speak to the 505 association?  I feel sure they would be happy to advise a potential member.....

ok, didnt know where to put this in the forum but this is the part where most people look. my parker 505 is sail number-less. i found out last night that my main was from an old 505 that got stolen, set alight and then chucked in the cannal, and my spinnaker number is from a 505 regestered in sweeden.

i have no paper work or the boat since i pulled it off the scrap heap and have been doing it up.

all i have is a cerial number but i dont know how to work out what the sail number is from that.

or if i have to reregister the boat and how i do that?!

all help greatful recieved
