For some reason I have elected to do this in a knackered old L2k with one of 'da yoof' from my club...am I allowed an interpreter in the boat?

Is anyone else sharing the insanity?

Not too much wind please.  I have yet to sail a laser 2k and although usefully lardy I am somewhat unfit and out of practice.  The boy is a mere slip of a lad...

I think just about every position between 1st and last 5 finishers has been achieved over the years in Cherubs... The main advice I can offer if doing the event in a Cherub is don't get stuck in log jams, and don't expect to get given any room just because you're coming into a leeward mark on starboard with an inside overlap on 50 boats.
