I am looking for anyone's experiences of Zhik sailing gear?

Specifically the wetsuits?

But  I am also looking at a few other bits of their winter kit.

Opinions please?

The boots are good but you will struggle to get a season out of them.

I have 3 Zhik skiffsuits which are lasting well, but I wear a different one each time (I don't like putting on wet kit) I suppose they will last three times longer! They seem well made enough and come with a repair kit, really comfy and warm too.

I'd got the impression from looking at the Zhik marketing spiel that when they say "winter" they're talking Aussie winter...

It's just the normal skiffsuit. Underneath that I wear the Zhik Spandex trouser (oooh er Wink) and as many rash vests as I need. I occasionally wear a Zhik Superwarm Top and that is good for December/Jan skiff sailing (whatever they are!). I think the layers underneath are really important, and a hat too, for summer coolish sailing i wear a Musto BR1 spray top or just a rashie over my BA. Although to be fair I'm still in shorts at T-shirt at the moment, so maybe I have a higher cold tolerance than most....

not good boat park protection though you're going to find stones!

Personaly I dont like the look of them.

my family bought the super warm skiff and top and they lloked really lose but that how they are suposed to be acording to the rep at the show. Now I always thought to be warm in water you need to have things tight?

Personally i go with wetsuits and thin poly-pro thermals.

I'm a diehard Zhikaholic. I swear by their kit!

I've been wearing their stuff since you had to get it imported and I've never looked back. The quality and innovations is well worth the higher prices you pay.

As for it  being designed for Aussie winter. Their system is layered like the Rooster stuff and in my experience is warmer. Their superwarm suit is great!
