BNS i laughed at your comment, no offence taken. I'm just trying to decide if i should put this thing back on the water (for the Scouts) or pass it on to the next Man. It's 12ft long, for a 20ft mast and needs a pair of rudders and a tramp (Been quoted £100-£150). It would be nice to know what it is...

I sail a Hurricane 59 myself.

It's a new concept, eh? "Mr Black no Sugar" ! Contender443 is in for a surprise, isn't he?

Don't worry, danielhawkes, if you come to play on this forum often enough, you'll get to know me. And despite what others might say, I can be nice !!

Is it a cheetah - I sailed one 20 + years ago in Cornwall ?

From dim memory it was approx 13/14 ft long and awful to tack.

You say hulls - is it off a Catamaran? Looks familiar - will think about it - but if a Cat, post it on cvrda, and hope our cat expert can help!

The hull picture would probably be more significant. The panthera maybe simply a nice sticker in the sail not linked to the class

Try a post on www.cvrda.org. They have a base of knowledge of older and lost classes.
