	yeah ali pali is the best by far for atmosphere etc. but I stil loved excel and soton reductions and the fact that they do take a whole day to get round, I liked the dock bit at excel. and the fact that I get to get time off school to go to soton.

	yer all the big shows have to many power boats and only a few sailing companys but you can get cheap stuff at boat shows!!

	I was disappointed with Excell - there was a huge desert of white plastic and smoked perspex with just the occasional smart suited person proffering some sort of sparkling wine - gross. Ally Pally on the other hand was great - I was one of the first to arrive and didn't leave 'til I was told too, and I still missed some bits.

	i go to all of them and i prefer alli palli cos it is close and all the classes turn up and u can chat to people from that class!! all the other boat shows have all crappy power boat stuff and not all the dinghy companys go to them shows!! but all the shows r entertaining and good fun!!

	yer making the way up to london is a little bit of a pain an i do like that sotion show is on the water quite a bit, i think all the shows are at good times of the year though as theres not so much compeiton on which boat show london or soton because there is quite a big time gap and sailors are never going to pass up a chance to oggle at big nice boats!
