Have a look at the video on masters of speed, not very good quality but for big blokes they don't half shift

Does the website have any videos of crashing? Could be potentially deadly if equipment fails! Surprised the ISAF have made them wear quick release harnesses!!! Dennis, how did you do at the easter regatta? heard the old boy and Keith did ok in the handicap fleet. |

Sailed on the Sunday breifly, it was gusting above 40 knots so common sence was dictating not to go out and hammer the boat until the Sunday. Problem was the jib car on the self-tacker jumped the track and jammed at the one side, which meant the boat could only sail on one tack, DoH. Still storming before that happened though, and your Dad and Keith seemed to be going really well, looks like a good partnership, and the "Scud-Missile" didn't get destroyed. Our damage count for the season is just a tiller extension, which is good for what we've been up to........ |

You didn't see the state of the boat over xmas, it was down at the club when the storms came through, got flipped off its trolley and ripped the foredeck to bits and bent and twisted the mast. Apparently keith's enjoying it more now since the big kite is blue instead of the old green and white hooped one!! |

Nice to know Keith likes the same colour of kites as me, do you have a reaching kite for the 505, because I couldn't remember and I reckon it would have worked a treat at the weekend. |

Yeah, stick your head out of the sun roof to get the full effect. To experience what it is like getting thrown over the front of a windsurfer at that sort of speed, stick your head out of the sunroof without opening it! |

But seriously, that's some acheivement for the wind-surfers. Scarey to think we were clocking 49ers doing about 25mph, and we thought that was shifting it. Imagine twice the speed of that
