The rope looks like Ronstan Race sheet.  I used some in the contender for about five minutes, then sailed back to shore and swapped it for my old one.  It just wouldn't cleat.  I can't tack without cleating the main (contender).  It cost me the first race at Bala (I had to capsize several times to discover my sheet wasn't cleating)

But of course it could be maffioli....

They are just boots, but why is he hiking out on the shore?
