The distributors Marathon Leisure have a web page for finding a local dealer. Select your area, then Boat Maintenance then Treadmaster

Treadmaster is great for nonslip, but it is heavy. I have it on my Finn where weight isn't an issue. It is abrasive on the knees though, and I'd be incined to use Progrip on anything else than a Finn. I did the whole rear deck of my IC with it and was grateful for it. Edited by neilw |

Progrip is pretty much dinghy standard now! Its lighter, softer and just alround better then Treadmaster! I think it is some kind of foam based material! good struff! once i have removed all the treadmaster from my IC then i will be progripping it up!

What about sugar soap? Easy to do yourself and does the job well if not better.
EDIT I don't think that is the right word for it... You mix sugar into soap, sand the boat down, paint it with the paint and its very grippy. I will post a picture in a few minutes of it on my boat. ANOTHER EDIT Pictures are on the other computer I will post one later this evening. Edited by Chris Bridges |

Doesn't it get a bit slippy having soap in your boat? |
