Anyone know anything about this story:

Sounds interesting, although there aren't really any details or picks of what they're building. [edit: Actually on closer reading it sounds like they're just working on the hydropetre boat and the Alighi thing is missleading]

Yep it seems to be the same team who worked on Alinghi is going to have a go at tweaking L'Hydroptère.
That boat is quite a resounding success for a mad idea borne a couple of decades ago

For the unfortunate forumites unable to read French (pfffft...), there's a nifty little icon on the right hand side of the menu bar . Click on it and the site's all in English.
