Has anyone got an old topper that they need to get rid of?

I am looking for one that is free, to use in heavy winds as a bit of fun.

Incomplete would be ok, but complete as possible would be good.

PM me.

There are 2 old Toppers in my back garden at the moment- they were not free and I don't know where you will ge one for that price.

Check out ebay and look at the old boats on there. They usually go for a minimum of £300 for the worst boats. It seems Toppers never lose their value totally.

I can sell you one for £500!!!

Join a club and use club boats.

He is a member of a club. They just are not keen on letting him destroy them in the wind strengths he wants to use them in!

If you are going to go out in a topper when knowone else is sailing, you will probably be told not to by your club, especially on the sea.

As per above, you can't get something for nothing especially as Ebay is around!

I wont be going out on my own, i want it for days when it is too windy for anything else, we have had a few of those recently and only the Laser has gone out. Cant keep a laser but can a topper.

The club has refused me use of their toppers in any wind strength above a force 4.

..thats a lie, I've bent a few masts. A combination of too much kicker, a violent capsize and strong wind.

i reckon a topper would make an ideal sledge, just need a high mountain with plenty of snow - no need for sails, gravity would suffice...
