What a great idea!

I've put it on our club website but as I already have a gorgeous Osprey I won't enter.

Actually, I do have an old Fairey Duckling but unlikely to be able to find a racing circuit for it, even if we gave it foils.  It already has part of a Moth mast and shroud adjusters put on in the 70s so it is quite in the spirit of the competition.

love to see a nice custom paint job done .... something like the white horses out of the guiness ad or some nice pin-stripe flames, would look good on a well flared hull, like merlin, RS400/300 or similar
Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one

There will be regular updates in the magazine with stories about the entries. Gael will be able to tell you more!

I have read this and may enter!, part of the entry means you have to race and tour with the boat. It is also required for promotional stuff!!

I've entered my vintage Cherub, but as I hardly campaign the old lady and I severely doubt Selden (or any other mast maker) could make a modern version of the mast I reckon we'll be more of a candidate for first excluded than first place in the comp...

I've got a shabby old Osprey sitting in the garden which would be PERFECT for this comp - shame I think I'd be barred from entering... mumble, grumble

Just seen the first installment in the latest mag...
New sails, mast, ropes, fittings, and hull!
I wonder if theyll keep the sail number?

is that not basically a new boat?!

It's like those episodes of pimp my ride when they decide that the original car is such a bag of $hite they bin it and start out with a new one. Think I'd call that cheating
