Hi
Can the laser 2 be sail with just the main ? Or is it the case you need the jib to blance the sail area. Bye John |

Can be done but the balance is poor.

Slightly OT but didn't the 3000 have a furling jib?

Yes, and you can sail about with the jib furled, but again, balance is not so good. I only furl when I don't want to trash my jib when just jogging along, and of course when coming ashore - it's great for preserving the jib from flapping itself to death. |
