Very nice!!

However of particular interest are the white plastic rings near the mast which would appear to pull the spare kite sheet inboard and away from the water and away from getting caught under the racks.  On my Cherub I often end up with the leeward kite sheet exiting the ratchet then going under the rack and back up to the clew of the kite, always a pain to sort out!  Nothing like going down to leeward to fix an issue with the kite up!

Any of you 14 boys/girls care to explain how the system works and if it's any good? At a guess as the pole comes back the white rings get drawn down to the deck by some clever string under the foredeck. Is this right?

Cheers

Iain

Something like that  , One possible way is having the elastic attached to the pole end running up to the front through a block and back then when the pole is in it tightens the elastic drawing the rings in, and when the pole goes out it slackens off!
Any one in need of quality carbon fibre work (tillers etc) at decent prices!

Pimp-tastic Rick.

On the bottom picture, I take it that the middle/lowest bits of ealstic in shot are nothing to do with that system?

That is correct - they are for the mainsheet tack up and the cunningham take up ...

It depends on the SMOD. Clearly the musto skiff lets you make that change!
